(Take your Licence with you!)

What better place to meet up with friends, give it space in your weekend, everybody else will.

Try your hand in the lucky dip, the profits will go to the UK Cancer Bike Ride.

David and the team at Robinsons will be happy to meet you all.

"Warriors" Motorbike Show 2008

We are inviting interested parties who may wish to take a stand at our motorbike show on Sunday 14th September 2008, to right click and print off the booking form below.

Fill in the form and send it along with the donation to the address given.

We would like to see a variety of stands taking place this year and you do not need to be aimed directly at motorcycles but you must have something that will be of interest to our visitors, be it goth, leather, jewellery, t-shirts, etc.

All the profits from this day go to local charities, so we hope that if you book and spend the day the with us and you do well, then maybe you donate more to the fund!!

2007 saw us raise £800:00 and it rained for most of the day, so having the show one week later this year on the 14th, we are trying to get clear skies and even more attendance???

If you cannot make the show, maybe you would like to donate something towards it, that we can auction and in that way raise funds??? (Send us an e-mail and let us know!!)

Be assured that whatever happens, the "Warriors" will do their best to help you have a good day!!

We will have limited spaces available on the day, spaces will be on a first come first served basis.
So send in your form early to get on the posters, give us a chance to advertise you!!!

1st Bike Show

Well as those of you turned up on the day know, YEP, it RAINED.
We thank all those that came along and we only wish that ALL could have been winners, you certainly deserved to be!!

Even though it t'was damp, we hope everbody enjoyed it and the final total raised and given to charity was £800:00, some was given on the day to Rochdale Moorland Childrens Home and some was given later at our meet to The Day Care Centre and the Family Centre.

What a day and even some stalls let us down but the end result, well it speaks for itself, BIKERS MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!!

We are having our second
1st Bike Show at the same venue but a week-end later
(14th Sept 2008) so when you all get your new diaries at christmas you will ALL have a date to put in it...................

I'm not to sure but we think we are the 1st to have a COMBO SECTION included as well.....
(Ok, prove us wrong?)

See the winners in the picture..(Still smiling!)

9th April 2006.

These ten pictures were taken at Heywood Station (East Lancs Railway )

The Classic Bike Show was organised by East Lancs Railway and every rider recieved a free train ride.

As you can see, there was a few blasts from the past that turned up for the show, even one we used to call "The Flying Banana"

BSA was well supported, as was Royal Enfield, even Velocete and a six cylinder Honda CBX.

In picture seven you can see the Stationmaster and Councillor Davis and I think both enjoyed the fruits of labour.

People turned up from quite good distances and braved the cold and showers of hailstones.

Good show, see you next year !

30th April
The "Warriors" had a ride out to the Steam Museum at Ellenroad in Rochdale, well "ok" it is close to home but we did all seem to enjoy the good display that The Pennine section of the Vintage Motorcycle Club put on.
Fortunately the weather held for them, so they got a fair amount of visitors and the Steam Museum Cafe got a bit of a rush to serve up tea's and coffee's.
(How did that Trickey Mickey get served so quick ?)

Some of our members even remember'd some of the old vintage bikes that were on display ( but we won't go too far into that one ! )
We are looking at the bike in the first picture, not Gypsy !

It is good to see that the biking heritage is being preserved, after all, if they had not been built, we would not have the bikes of today !
Like Kevin having a go on Nigel's Goldwing,
Careful "Kev" thats a lot of bike to handle !

The Steam Museum are having an open day on the 7th May, so for anyone that missed the Classic Bikes, they will be there again, don't miss it, it's worth a visit !!

13th May 2006

A few members went to Squires Cafe to give support to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance cause.
camping on Saturday was FREE.
The cafe supplied us with excellent food at very reasonable cost and who can complain at a FULL breakfast for £5:00 and being met at the door by James Dean can only be a bonus ?
Sunday morning started rather slow because of the overcast weather but in the afternoon the carpark was filled nicely with all sorts of bikes and trikes.
Hopefully the Air Ambulance got quite a good few donations (They deserve it and god forbid one of us may need it one day !)
We have promised to return very soon and in fact it looks it is going to be sooner than we thought 17th June
